New Zealand: South Island - Queenstown

We had yet another beautiful drive on the way to Queenstown.  As we drove inland through the mountain passes, we stopped twice to see waterfalls that were accessible  by walking just a few minutes off the highway.  On the other side of the Southern Alps, we drove alongside lakes for miles.  Snow capped mountains were always in sight.

Bungee Jumping and Skydiving are popular activities in Queenstown, but there was no way Simon was going to talk me into either of those.  So, we enjoyed the town, which was quiet since it was out of season, and took in the views.
